Dr Who artwork missed by bric-a-brac browsers

An almost once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire a Dr Who artwork was missed by bric-a-brac browsers at the Tuttington church stall in Aylsham marketplace yesterday. There is no need to exaggerate the quality and sense of menace exuded by the print depicting a senior black Darlek standing ready to roll into the Tardis.

There was a host of other quality items on offer donated by generous residents of Tuttington. Trade was described as ‘unhurried’ rather than brisk. Customers browsed the collections of books, records, games, ornaments and all manner of other interesting fare during the morning.

But all is not lost, there will be another chance to get your hands on the infamous sci-fi protagonist – and many other choice items too. The bric-a-brac will be available again during the coming days and at the coffee morning at Tuttington church next Saturday 18th September from 10:00am.

The final tally of funds raised, which will go towards the upkeep of Tuttington church, will be announced after the end of the sale. Be there early or you just might be disappointed…
