The Burgh and Tuttington Parish Council were represented at the GNLP Roadshow in Aylsham Town Hall on Tuesday 12th February 2020.
The housing expansion planned for Aylsham will be initially for 300 new homes with the option to expand to a maximum of about 550 properties.
Concern was expressed by the Parish Council that the capacity of the Sewerage Works just east of the A140 which serves Aylsham might not be sufficient to cope with the housing expansion. This could result in an increased risk of untreated sewage polluting the river Bure above Burgh.
This point will form the core of our Parish Council’s submission to the GNLP Consultation.
