In response to the death of The Duke of Edinburgh, the following message has been received from Tracy Brady, the Civic Officer for Broadland and South Norfolk District Councils.
It provides information for those wishing to sign Books of Condolence. The message reads:
It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of The Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.
The Royal website will have an ebook of condolence set up, which can be found at www.royal.gov.uk.
We will not be encouraging residents to visit the Council’s offices to sign our book of condolence, but will instead be asking them to email here any messages of condolence. All messages will be archived following the period of mourning.
