Zoom! to the next Parish Council meeting…

  • Post category:Event / News

The next meeting of the Burgh and Tuttington Parish Council will be held on Tuesday 22nd July 2020 at 7:30pm. This would normally be expected to take place in Tuttington Church at this time of year, but these are not ordinary times we live in. Instead, the meeting will be held over the internet with the help of the Zoom online conferencing app. This is because we are still being encouraged to maintain social distancing.

Indoor venues with large numbers of participants, normally expected at our Parish Council meetings (ahem), are considered higher risk for virus spread. So, for the time being, we will all have to sit facing our laptops or pads – in front of the requisite bookshelf filled with worthy books – and listen to the fascinating discussions of our learned parish Councillors. As with ‘in the flesh’ Parish Council meetings, there will be an opportunity for the public to have their say.

A link to the meeting will be made available well before the meeting so you can all log on in your hundreds. The Tuttington Hub will be one of the places you will be able to download the link, so keep watching.

Full details on how you can join the meeting will appear here on the Tuttington Hub and on the Burgh and Tuttington Parish Council website in due course.
