You are invited to the Annual Parish Meeting

  • Post category:Event

Please come along to the Annual Parish Meeting, if you wish, which will be held in Tuttington Church on Wednesday 11th May, staring at 7:30pm. Actually, there will be three meetings in one session relating to our civil parish which includes both villages of Burgh-next-Aylsham and Tuttington.

First, is the Annual Parish Meeting – this is not a parish council meeting – where all residents can come along and have their say, or listen to others have theirs. This can be about anything from matters of concern to info regarding up-coming events.

After the Annual Parish meeting concludes, the Annual Meeting of Burgh and Tuttington Parish Council is opened. Again, there will be an opportunity for public discussion on Parish Council matters. The Annual Parish Council meeting includes a discussion about formal policy and legal responsibilities of the Council. This part might be of less general interest to residents who are not obliged to stay but are welcome to if they wish.

Finally, there will be a curtailed regular Parish Council meeting. The Agenda for all three meetings can be viewed and downloaded from the website of the Burgh and Tuttington Parish Council.
