Nearly £200 was collected on the Tuttington Church Stall in a busy Aylsham Market Place last Saturday 12th September. The stall, in aid of essential church repairs, was organised by Jan and Churchwarden June. They were ably assisted by Colin, Ruth and Jane who had to don the appropriate PPE and serve customers in town.
The stall sold all manner of items from bric-a-brac to books, as well as fruit and veg all donated by Tuttington parishioners. Particularly popular were the books, puzzles and games, and the fruit and veg. Also selling well were the combo of a book, tea/coffee (bag) and a biscuit for a quid.
Profits made at the stall and going toward church repairs amounted to £190.96p.
However, the Tuttington Hub management were not so happy because the team on site were too busy to take a photograph of the event so we have had put up a seasonal offering instead!
