Or will snow drop in?
In these uncertain times of global warming and other events, we are coming to expect our snowdrops in January rather than February. This is partly down to spring arriving a few weeks earlier but new earlier snowdrop varieties make us think the world’s climate is on the move.
Both are probably true but don’t think for one minute we are finished with winter just yet. Some models of climate change predict we might be in for colder winters in the future if global warming re-directs the gulf stream further south. But remember last year’s Beast from the East. Another freeze could just be lingering on the other side of the North Sea waiting to head our way…
