Close to where we spied the lapwings recently we saw another group of animals along the Norwich Road. This time it was a small herd of roe deer munching on the winter corn.
At first, we were not sure whether this group were sika, red or roe deer as there are many similarities. We originally decided they were sika deer but this group seems to be of mixed sex and sika deer, apparently, don’t wander about in mixed sex herds.
