This bedraggled specimen was spotted in Tuttington this week hanging out to dry after a quick dip in a garden pond.
Let’s hope it’s two meters away, or part of a volery of long-tailed tits from the same household perched in a nearby tree.
I think we can safely assume that this lot don’t need to do social distancing. I expect if you were to ask them you wouldn’t get a very helpful reply…
